Terms of Service
Last updated: Draft of 29 October 2026, pending legal review.
These terms govern your use of this website and of the Clinics On Cloud Health ATMs, Box Clinics, Health Lounges, teleconsultations and digital health platform offered in the United Arab Emirates (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
1.1 Age
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services on your own. A person under 18 may use a Health ATM only with a parent or guardian present who consents on their behalf.
1.2 Capacity to contract
By using the Services you confirm that you have the legal capacity to agree to these terms, or are acting for an organisation that has authorised you to.
2. The Services
2.1 Health ATMs and Health Lounges
Self-service screening stations that measure a range of health parameters and produce a report. The parameters available depend on the unit and its configuration.
2.2 Teleconsultation
Where offered, a video consultation with a licensed healthcare professional after a screening.
2.3 Box Clinic
A portable clinic for camps, outreach and workplace screening, operated by trained staff.
2.4 Digital platform
Your report, delivered to your phone or email, and the records kept on the Clinics On Cloud platform.
3. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information, including your health history where you are asked for it.
- Use the equipment as instructed on screen and by any staff present, and stop if you feel unwell.
- Keep any login or access code to your reports to yourself.
- Do not damage, tamper with or misuse a unit, or try to access data that is not yours.
4. Medical disclaimer
4.1 Not a substitute for medical care
A screening is a point-of-care check, not a diagnosis. It does not replace a consultation, examination or laboratory test by a licensed doctor. Discuss any result that concerns you with a doctor.
4.2 Accuracy
Each device in a unit is tested for accuracy, but a reading can be affected by how a test is taken, your condition at the time, and other factors. A doctor may advise a confirmatory test.
4.3 Emergencies
The Services are not for emergencies. In an emergency in the UAE call 998 for an ambulance, 999 for the police or 997 for the fire service, or go to the nearest emergency department.
5. Teleconsultation terms
A teleconsultation creates a relationship between you and the healthcare professional, not with the unit's host. The professional decides whether a remote consultation is suitable and may refer you for an in-person visit. Any prescription is issued under the rules of the health authority that licenses the professional. A teleconsultation needs a working connection; we are not responsible for one that is interrupted by a network outside our control.
6. Payment
6.1 Fees
Where a screening is paid for by you, the price is shown before the screening starts. Prices are in UAE dirhams and include VAT where it applies.
6.2 Refunds
If a screening cannot be completed because of a fault with the unit, you may ask for a refund or a repeat screening.
6.3 Organisations
Where an employer, insurer or other organisation pays for screenings, the commercial terms are in its own agreement with us, which takes precedence over this section.
7. Intellectual property
The website, the software, the reports and the Clinics On Cloud name and marks belong to us or our licensors. You may use your own report for your personal purposes. You may not copy, modify or resell any part of the Services. You keep the rights in any review you submit, and allow us to publish it on this website.
8. Data protection
How we handle personal data, including health information, is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Liability
We provide the Services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for a decision you or a third party makes on the basis of a screening result without medical advice. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited under UAE law, including under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.
10. Third-party services
The website may link to other websites and may use services such as Google Translate and YouTube. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. Healthcare professionals who give teleconsultations are responsible for their own clinical decisions.
11. Ending your use
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend access to a unit or the platform if it is misused, or if we need to for safety, maintenance or legal reasons. Sections on liability, intellectual property and data protection continue to apply after you stop.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and a significant change will be shown on this website before it takes effect.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. We will try to resolve any complaint with you directly first; if that fails, the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
14. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. We are not responsible for a failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. If these terms are translated, the English version prevails.
